Oh, the waiting game

We are getting so anxious to get our new orders for the Army! This is the part I really hate - the whole hurry-up to get the paperwork in and then waiting. Crickets...crickets. I feel like we're on an episode of "Deal or No Deal" where the suspense builds and that annoying music plays before the model and Howie tell you your fate. Only, it's never-ending. I don't have much patience, I'll admit it. I'm so used to getting answers & resolutions right away. Needless to say, this "military way" isn't sitting right with me now.
